Mansory’s Ostentatious Purosangue Appeals to the Inner 5 Year Old

For a change, it seems the automotive community at large would rally behind Ferrari sending a cease and desist order to Mansory for their latest Purosangue creation, which seems to appeal to billionaires with the aesthetic appeal of a 5 year old.

Mansory has transformed the Ferrari Purosangue into a bespoke super SUV with their striking “Pugnator” conversion although it is unlikely to be everyone’s cup of tea. Known for their bold takes on high-performance vehicles, Mansory has reworked the Purosangue with distinctive carbon-fibre bodywork and significant aerodynamic enhancements, all while amplifying the engine’s performance.

The exterior is dominated by a vibrant “Vermillion” paint job, immediately setting it apart from the standard Purosangue while raw carbon-fiber accents run throughout, including the front spoiler, side skirts, hood, and rear diffuser. Larger air intakes in the front bumper and an extended roof spoiler are reported to improve airflow and downforce, giving the SUV a sportier and more imposing stance. Mansory’s signature forged wheels are now found in a newly designed FC.5 configuration, in sizes 22 inches for the front and 23 inches for the rear and are wrapped in high-performance tyres.

Under the long bonnet, Mansory has also tuned the Purosangue’s 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine. The standard 525 kW has been bumped up to an impressive 555 kW, with torque also increasing to 730 N.m. These upgrades reportedly improve performance figures, such as acceleration but audiophiles would be glad to know that it also includes an upgraded exhaust system, which expectedly allows the 12-cylinder to sing its tune at various decibel levels with a flap control system.

Inside, the Pugnator conversion offers a luxurious experience with fully customizable interiors. Leather upholstery, intricate stitching, carbon fibre accents, and aluminium pedals are just a few options available. Mansory allows buyers to tailor every aspect of the interior to their personal preferences, from colours and materials to the layout, ensuring an unparalleled sense of bespoke luxury.

The result has been controversially met on social media and by the motoring community at large, with many encouraging the Italian automaker to send their standard cease and desist order to the German tuner for their ostentatious creation.
