Limited to 1 974 examples worldwide (a numercial nod to the original car’s introduction in 1974), the 50-year Turbo uses the latest 911 Turbo S as its basis and adds a wealth of retro-inspired touches, both inside and out. Externally, the touches include Turbo-unique Turbonite paint finish for both the bodywork and model-specific alloy wheels, Matrix LED headlamps as standard, vinyl turbo side graphics and a Turbo 50 logo underneath the LED light bar, as well as a “turbo 1974-2024 50” badge on the engine grille vents.

Inside, the most prominent touches include tartan trim similar to that of the 930 Turbo on the seat panels and door cards, a numbered plaque, and a Porsche Design chronograph. Power is provided by a 3.8-litre twin-turbo, flat-six feeding 478 kW and 800 N.m to the rear wheels via an eight-speed PDK transmission. Composite compound brakes, Porsche Active suspension management and a sports exhaust round off the technical extras.
ETA: Q1 2025, in limited numbers, priced from R5 903 000
