Maserati’s Track Stars Primed for FuoriConcorso Debut

Maserati will headline Lake Como’s prestigious FuoriConcorso event from May 24-25, marking its debut at the gathering which annually draws thousands to Villa del Grumello and Villa Sucota since 2019.

FuoriConcorso which started as an annual gather in crowd of collectors, experts and enthusiasts at the historic Villa del Grumello and Villa Sucota. This year’s focus on iconic Italian racing machines, which Maserati believes will provide the ideal backdrop for its performance DNA.

The GT2 Stradale, resplendent in a bespoke “Bianco Audace” livery from Officine Fuoriserie Maserati, is said to represent a compelling bridge between track prowess and everyday usability. Born from the GT2 race car that marked Maserati’s return to GT competition, the Stradale combines sporting pedigree and refined road manners. Its Nettuno V6 engine produces a formidable 471 kW, propelling it to 100 km/h in a mere 2.7 seconds, with a top speed exceeding 320 km/h. Notably, it sheds 60 kg compared to the MC20, making it the most powerful road-going Maserati with an internal combustion engine.

Sharing the spotlight will be the formidable MCXtrema, cloaked in a striking “Blu Extrema” finish. This track-only machine, produced in a limited run of just 62 units. It’s a 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 engine derived from the Nettuno, which is pushed to deliver an astounding 544 kW.
