Paying tribute to the iconic 333i, BMW South Africa has announced the introduction of the M2 333i Homage edition. Only 33 examples will be available.

Developed as South Africa’s answer to the E30 M3, which wasn’t sold in our market, the 333i has become one of the most iconic BMWs to grace the road. BMW South Africa is now celebrating this revered model with the introduction of a special M2, the 333i Homage edition.
Based on the current-generation M2, the 333i Homage edition employs the same 3.0-litre turbocharged inline-six, which delivers a healthy 353 kW and 600 N.m of torque to the road via the rear wheels. The Bavarian brand claims these figures allow the M2 to complete the 0-100 km/h sprint in 4.0 seconds, before topping out at 285 km/h.
The 333i Homage edition package includes a bespoke front splitter and spoilers, ‘333i Homage’ decals, quad exhaust pipes, and Alpina wheels. The exterior colour palette includes Alpine White, Sapphire Black, Brooklyn Grey, Fire Red and Zandvoort Blue. Stepping inside, the interior gains the automaker’s Carbon bucket seats, original Überkaro tartan upholstery for the central armrest, and a commemorative plaque.
Limited to just 33 units, the 333i Homage edition will exclusively be sold via an online auction, which is scheduled to take place on 21 October 2025. The reserve price for this special BMW is set at R1 960 000, with all proceeds donated to charities supported by BMW South Africa. You can register for the auction at https://www.bmw.co.za/homage.
