Want to sharpen up your new BMW X3? Well, the folks over at AC Schnitzer might just have what you’re looking for, with the German tuning company revealing a new styling package for the fourth generation.

So, what does the kit include? For starters, owners have the option of specifying their G45 iteration with a selection of  items aimed at not only elevating the midsize SUV’s sporty aesthetic, but also improve aerodynamics. The latter includes a new front splitter and roof-mounted rear wing. The Aachen-based brand offers customers the choice of two wheel options: 21-inch ‘FlowForming’ AC3 alloys and 22-inch AC5 items.

Under the skin, the fitment of a suspension lowering kit drops the X3’s ride height by 25 mm. The track have also been widened, by 10 mm. Of course, the firm also offers an engine upgrade to increase power and torque. Though, the latter will likely depend on which model is brought in for a tune. Indeed, the package can be had with each engine variant.

As a reminder, the new X3 is available with the choice of petrol, diesel and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrains. Petrol options include a 148 kW/310 kW 2.0-litre four-pot and 293 kW/580 N.m 3.0-litre inline-six, the latter equipped to the M50, which we evaluated for a road test in June 2025 issue of CAR Magazine. It’s this M Performance model we expect will be the most popular among AC Schnitzer customers.

Rounding off the range, the X3 20d features a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbodiesel producing 145 kW and 400 N.m, while the X3 30e’s PHEV setup comprises a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbopetrol and electric motor for a combined system output of 220 kW/450 N.m.
