Mini Cooper Paul Smith Edition Unveiled

Designed in collaboration with British designer Paul Smith, Mini has revealed a new special-edition Cooper.

The Mini Cooper Paul Smith Edition was conceived as the latest model in the long-standing partnership between the British automaker and globally recognised designer Paul Smith. The Mini Paul Smith Edition is based on the Cooper Electric.

Following the mantra ‘classic with a twist’, this special-edition Cooper is available in three exterior finishes, each inspired by classic Mini colours. Two of the three body hues are edition-specific; namely Statement Grey and Inspired White. Two colours are available for the roof: Nottingham Green and Jet Black, with colour-matched mirrors and front grille surrounds. The Nottingham Green roof is complemented by a Paul Smith ‘Signature Stripe’, while the Jet Black roof receives gloss and matte black stripes.

Finishing exterior touches include a welcome light that reads “hello” in Paul Smith’s handwriting, as well as his signature on the rear of the vehicle. A bespoke Mini logo, finished in black and blue, replaces the standard item. A set of 18-inch Night Spoke alloy wheels, fitted with Nottingham Green centre caps with “Paul Smith” lettering, is also present.

Inside, the door sills feature Paul Smith’s motto, “Everyday is a new beginning”. A graphic of a hand-drawn rabbit on the front floor mats are also present. The knitted dashboard trim and door panels feature Paul Smith’s subtle tone-on-tone striped design. 

The steering wheel adorns the unique Mini logo, complete with signature stripe work and “Paul Smith” lettering. The Vescin synthetic leather sports seats are finished in Nightshade Blue and feature Paul Smith stripes at the top. Additionally, the seats receive a stitched Paul Smith logo. Touch points such as the door handles, speaker grilles, steering wheel surrounds, and cup holders receive dark steel finishes.
